Braiding at Maracaan is unhurried by design. Sections are measured, tension is kept gentle on the hairline, and every braid is finished so the style sits beautifully from day one and lasts.

Before you arrive
- Arrive with hair freshly washed, fully detangled and stretched or blown out
- Add a Hair Wash if you would like us to prepare your hair in the studio
- Bring your braiding hair, or select studio-supplied hair when booking
- Allow the full appointment time; longer or smaller styles take longer
Aftercare
- Wrap with a silk or satin scarf at night
- Lightly oil the scalp two to three times a week
- Avoid heavy products that build up along the parts
- Book a take-down or refresh within eight weeks

Good to know
Most styles take between four and six hours. Smaller braids and extra length take longer, and the estimate updates as you choose your options when booking.
You are welcome to bring your own. Studio-supplied hair can be added when booking and is charged separately.
